Welcome to your 7th week of pregnancy! You have just completed your 6th full week. Your baby is growing at a tremendous rate this week, and is now up to 1/2 " long, or around the size of a grain of rice or even a blueberry. Overall, there has been nearly a doubling in size just since last week! That's hard work for your little baby! First-time-everything mama-to-be
Woo-hoo, I can finally use this picture!

Hi, everyone. I'm seven weeks along with my first child. It was a total, unexpected shocker when I found out last week that I was expecting. The thing is, the day after I found out, I thought I ended up having a miscarriage. ALL of my symptoms went away (four days' worth of weird belly bloating [and the only way I can think to describe this is say that my abdominal muscles were loosening and spreading apart], severe temperature unbalance, queasiness, inability to even think of food...) and then a couple hours later I went to the restroom and there was blood everywhere when I stood back up. More than I ever had during an entire menstrual cycle.
